“On August 20, 2022, State Police of Princetown arrested James Dashnaw, 51, of Delanson, NY, for Criminal Mischief in the Third Degree, a class “E” felony, Petit Larceny, a class “A” misdemeanor, Possession of Burglar Tools, a class “A” misdemeanor, Conspiracy in the Fifth Degree, a class “A” misdemeanor and Criminal Trespass in the Third Degree, a class “B” misdemeanor.
On August 20, 2022, at about 9:08 a.m. Troopers responded to a home on Western Turnpike in the town of Duanesburg, NY, for the reports of a man removing siding from the house. The investigation determined Dashnaw was trespassing on the property to steal the siding for the purpose of selling it as scrap metal. He did not have the homeowner’s permission to do so.
Dashnaw was arrested and transported to SP Princetown for processing. He was transported to Schenectady County Correctional Facility to await arraignment.”
