“A public hearing was held on Tuesday for the request to rezone three, recently subdivided portions of the former Pine Brook Golf Club on South Main Street from residential to commercial and is scheduled to continue at the Common Council’s meeting in November.
Eden Renewables would like to pursue plans for a community solar farm that could potentially also include a walking trail, exercise stations, education stations and a picnic area for community members’ use. But first, the request to rezone the property located at 280 S. Main St. has to be approved to allow them to move forward.
Eden Renewables presented their plan for the community solar farm and addressed two concerns: Visual impact and possible better use for the property.”
