“With the Duanesburg Volunteer Ambulance Corps switching to a fully-paid staff, the Schenectady County Legislature is considering donating a plot of land to the organization that officials say will bolster its ability to provide life-saving services.
The legislature’s Committee on Public Safety and Firefighting on Wednesday advanced a proposal that would see the county transfer ownership of a 1.9-acre plot of land that includes a vacant house to DVAC, which has plans to convert the old building into a hub for administrative offices, training and lodging space for first responders.”
