“The first phase of a $28 million capital improvement project at Duanesburg schools is set to break ground later this year.
The district’s Board of Education awarded a pair of contracts last week totaling $3 million for the first phase of its Centennial Capital Project that was approved by voters in 2022. The contracts center on improvements at the district’s elementary school.
The project coincides with the centennial of the district’s high/school middle school building that was constructed in 1925. The elementary school was built in the 1950s.”
