On November 15, 2023, State Police arrested Elizabeth A. Dolder, 50, of Duanesburg, NY, for two counts of Forgery in the second degree, two counts of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument in the second degree, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the third degree, and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the fourth degree.
On October 3, 2023, State Police of Princetown received a complaint from a Schenectady Business reporting a check issued by their company had been intercepted. The investigation determined Dolder reportedly stole the check and modified it in an attempt to endorse it to herself. Dolder attempted to cash the fraudulent check at a financial institution in Rotterdam, NY in September 2023. Further investigation discovered she possessed an additional stolen and forged check which she attempted to cash at a Niskayuna, NY financial institution in October 2023.
Dolder was arrested at her home and transported to SP Princetown for processing. She was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Rotterdam and Niskayuna Town Courts on a later date.”
