“On January 17, 2023, State Police of Princetown arrested Edward A. Cruz Jr., 29, of Albany, NY, and Trista V. Lohmeyer, 28, of Albany, NY, each were charged with ninety-one counts of Burglary in the Third Degree, Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree, four counts of Conspiracy in the Fifth Degree, four counts of Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree, four counts of Petit Larceny, and Criminal Possession of a Burglary tool.
On November 1, 2022, at about 2:20 p.m., Troopers were contacted by Superior Storage in Duanesburg, NY, reporting multiple storage units had been broken into, and items were missing. The investigation determined Cruz Jr. and Lohmeyer entered the property numerous times and destroyed locks on ninety-one storage units to allow access. The pair stole items out of the multiple storage units.
Both were arrested during a traffic stop in Princetown, NY, and transported to SP Princetown for processing. Both brought to the Schenectady County Correctional Facility to await arraignment.”
