“A Duanesburg man stabbed his wife and 5-year-old child to death Wednesday evening and attacked is 2-year-old child, who survived, state police said.
Nelson D. Patino, 47, of 6826 Duanesburg Road, appeared in Duanesburg Town Court Thursday evening, less than 24 hours after the attack, on two counts of second-degree murder and one count of second-degree attempted murder.
He was ordered held without bail.
State police responded to the residence at 6826 Duanesburg Road at about 9:15 p.m. after a man contacted police saying that he had stabbed his family, state police said.”
