“The 234-acre equestrian estate of a beleaguered heiress of the Seagram beverage company is on the market for nearly $5 million.
Located in Delanson, New York, about 30 miles west of Albany, the property includes a seven-bedroom, five-bathroom mansion, a 10-stall barn and stable, an indoor training arena, a carriage house with three additional stalls and a guest house, according to listing agents Franca DiCrescenzo and Anthony Durante of Armida Rose Realty Group in Schenectady, New York.
Ms. Bronfman, 41, purchased the home in 2005 for $2.3 million, according to public records. She is the youngest daughter of the late Edgar Bronfman, who rose to the role of CEO of his family’s business, the Seagram Company.
Ms. Bronfman was a leader of NXIVM, a self-proclaimed marketing company found to be involved in several criminal activities. She pleaded guilty to fraud and conspiracy to conceal and harbor illegal aliens for financial gain last year. She is serving six years and nine months in prison.”
