“Developers will have to wait another month for a decision from the Planning Board on a subdivision application for the former Pine Brook Golf Club on South Main Street after the four present board members became deadlocked in a 2-2 vote to approve the application on Tuesday. Action was tabled until the October meeting when a tie-breaking vote from the full five-person board is expected on the application that would allow developers to pursue possible approval of a solar project at the center of the existing property.
The subdivision application for the 155-acre former Pine Brook Golf Club property at 280 S. Main St. has been under review by the Planning Board since February. Approval of the application would divide the existing property into four lots. The entire property is currently zoned residential, following subdivision approval property owners would seek to have three of the four created lots rezoned by the city commercial.”
