“DUANESBURG — The Duanesburg High School senior class saw a need, and on Friday afternoon, those 57 Eagles gave.
“There was a food drive at Schenectady County Community College the other day, and the kids saw the footage,” Duanesburg English teacher Rebecca Press said Friday in a phone interview. “They saw the 600 cars there and said, ‘This is not OK. We need to do something.'”
The Duanesburg senior class voted to donate $4,000 of their senior fund to the Regional Food Bank. On Friday, senior class treasurer Andrew Drescher and student council vice president Paul Munson were in Latham to deliver a check in that amount.”
