“On Tuesday, June 6th, 2017 Members of the Plattsburgh Police Department Narcotics Unit, with assistance from the New York State Police K-9 unit and the Adirondack DEA Task Force, stopped a vehicle on Interstate 87 near the City of Plattsburgh. During the subsequent investigation officers located and seized 170 individually wrapped packets of Fentanyl; which is an opioid medication. The two occupants of the vehicle attempted to prevent officers from finding the bags of Fentanyl by throwing them from the vehicle as officers approached.”
