At the county Legislature’s committee meeting Monday night, the Legislature interviewed the three people who have been recommended to take their places. Todd Edwards was nominated for Duanesburg and Princetown for a four-year term for the Metroplex seat.
Edwards has lived in Princetown for more than 15 years, serves on the town’s Planning Board and is a former Princetown councilman of four years.
He currently works as the area vice president for Arthur J. Gallagher & Company.
“My motivation for this is personal,” Edwards said during the meeting. “The western end of Schenectady County is very rural with a lot of different dynamics … I recognize the assets there and am excited to explore projects in that part of the county.””
