“Across county Holly Vellano and Randy Pascarella both won the Conservative Party line, with 255 and 224 votes respectively, in their push for re-election to the county Legislature. They squared off against Josh Cuomo, who received 141 votes in the race for the seat, which represents the towns of Rotterdam, Duanesburg and Princetown.

“The whole slate worked hard,” said Vellano, who campaigned alongside Pascarella for the primaries.

Pascarella was not shocked to win the party line.

“I’m the Conservative so I won,” he said.

He will be seeking his third term. He said he will continue knocking on doors to get voters out to the polls this November.
