“New York State has been cracking down on bars and restaurants that violate Governor Cuomo’s executive orders on COVID-19 safety protocols, and now the state is naming names.
The NYS State Liquor Authority has released a list of the more than 400 establishments that have been cited since the Governor issued his first order banning all on-site service at bars and restaurants, an order that has since been modified.
Among those cited are eight Capital Region establishments.
Mario’s Restaurant & Pizzeria and the River Road House, both on River Road in Schenectady County. Also, Jonathan’s Pizza & Italian Cuisine in Duanesburg, the Arsenal City Tavern in Watervliet, Dee Dee’s Tavern in Latham, Hudson River Brewing in Hudson, Dozer’s Bar & Grill in Ballston Spa, and the Greenbush Inn in East Greenbush.
In the charges filed against them, the SLA says all eight face the possibility of revocation, cancellation or suspension of their liquor license.”
