Eden Renewables:
Doug Cole, of Prime AE, submitted updated comments for both the Van Epps and Mohawk View Solar projects. In response to Eden Renewables updated documents submitted to Prime AE on January 31, 2020, Mr. Cole as able to provide updates to the Planning Board on both projects and identify any outstanding items. The Planning Board reviewed each set of comments from Prime AE, as well as updated documentation received from Eden Renewables on February 10, 2020.
While Eden Renewables will update their plans in accordance with Prime AE’s comments, the Planning Board noted the following items they wished to seek further clarification on from Eden Renewables:
• Front setbacks on plan documents indicate 50’ but agreed upon amount is 100’; update needed
• Ensure that a pervious gravel access road is installed
• Question on screening- where does the hedgerow start? In some photos is looks to be right against the ditch but in others it looks farther back
• Want to ensure that landscaping is kept up for the life of the project
• Planning Board is OK with 6’ deer fence around projects
• Decommissioning Plan must include clause that if the project is left unused for 12 consecutive months it must then be decommissioned
• Planning Board to request a bond for decommissioning
• Planning Board to request a twice annual review of the project by Eden Renewables to project maintenance: landscaping, fencing, signage, etc.”
