“#19-09 Mariaville Materials LLC: SBL# 33.00-2-3.7, (R-2) located at 11814 Mariaville Rd is seeking a Special Use Permit under Local Law # 7-2017 of the Town of Duanesburg Zoning Ordinance. Mike Cuchiara and Chris Knox gave their presentation to the Board. The purposed project will be a 6.2 Mega Watt D.C Solar project with 16 mega watt hour battery storage of as part of the connection. They will be using screw footings and no concrete footings. The project will be on the Northern end of the property approximately 59 acres. It will be defined as a Major Solar Energy Efficient Project. The Project will need a County referral and the EAF form needs to be amended in order to start the coordination process to send the application out.
The Board would like for Mr. Knox to provide:
The lease agreement
Remove herbicides in the comments
Consider additional screenings
A jurisdictional determination from Army Corp of Engineers
Check with National Grid to see if the studying of the grid can even take the power
Compliance with our tree removal
Provide more details about the screw footings.
Identify points for rendering.
Financial insurance (Bonding)
Agricultural district as well as a County referral
Novak/Sexton made a motion to declare the Planning Board lead agency for the SEQRA review for this unlisted action.

Williams/Novak made a motion to ask the Planner to seek three (3) quotes for a Town Engineer for this project.

Three (3) Town Engineers Proposals have been returned. Prime Engineering said they felt it was a conflict of interest due to the fact they are already working with them on a different solar project. Ingalls Total Estimated Fee was 2,400.00. C.T. MALE Associates Total estimated fee is 7,200.00.”
