Obituary: Linda Ann Jones Rispoli

“Linda Ann (Jones) Rispoli Duanesburg – Linda Ann Rispoli, 61, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday August 3, 2024 after courageously beating cancer. She was born in Schenectady on October 5, 1962, residing the past 20 years in Duanesburg.

She was the daughter of the late Betty and Ron Jones. Linda is survived by her husband of 43 years Joseph, daughter Angela (Will) Borzymowski , her ‘sweet pea’ granddaughter Annabeth, brother Bob (Nancy) Jones, sisters Kathy (Bob) Buccieri and Nancy Griffeth and many nieces and nephews.

She was a 1980 graduate of Mohonasen High School. Linda started her working life after graduation in banking and then found a long-term career at Sunnyview Hospital as Program Coordinator for the Neurological Rehabilitation department for over 30 years.

Linda enjoyed her weekends at the family camp sitting around the campfire with adult beverages, listening to music and story-telling. In the fall she loved Sunday football and cheering on her teams. She had a passion for crocheting, making numerous hats and blankets for babies at the Christ Child Society, blankets for family gifts and warm gear for the hunting camp. Upon retirement Linda enjoyed reading, cooking, swimming, biking with her lady friends and Grammy dates with her granddaughter.

Linda’s funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday August 9, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. in St Gabriel’s Church 3040 Hamburg St. Schenectady. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass and may also visit with Linda’s family at Demarco – Stone Funeral Home 1605 Helderberg Ave. on Friday August 9, 2024 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. prior to the Mass. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Christ Child Society P.O. Box 423 Guilderland Center N.Y. 12085 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis Tn. 38105. Online condolences may be offered at demarcostonefuneralhome.com.”
