“A Thursday evening fire damaged a home in Duanesburg Thursday evening.
The owner, however, escaped safely, but one of her five cats was reported unaccounted for.
The fire was called in just after 8 p.m. at 4909 Western Turnpike, a property near Duane Avenue and Duanesburg Road.
The blaze eventually burned through the home’s eves, sending flames out of the roofline.
Further information on the blaze was unavailable Friday.”
