“Toni A. DiCaprio, 74, passed away peacefully, at home, Wednesday, August 10, 2022. Toni was born in Schenectady and raised in Scotia. She was a graduate of Scotia-Glenville High School, Class of 1966. Toni was a regional manager for NYNEX. Subsequently, she was a district manager of Starbuck’s. Toni was a communicant and very involved volunteer at St. John the Evangelist Church in Schenectady. She was the current president of the church Rosary Society, a member of the funeral ministry, a sacristan and eucharistic minister. Toni was predeceased by her mother Angelina Posillico Nolan and step-father Richard Nolan, her husband Peter J. DiCaprio Sr., who died in 2010.She is survived by four children; Peter J. (Sarah) DiCaprio, Jr., David P. DiCaprio, Philip R. (Jackie) DiCaprio and Carrie Anne DiCaprio Minucci, six grandchildren; Dominic, Hailie, Nicholas, Julia, Salvatore and Hayden, brother-in-law; Rit (Linda) DiCaprio; also loved by numerous nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass, which will be celebrated, Monday, August 15th, 2022at 12 noon at St. John the Evangelist Church. There will be no calling hours. Entombment will be private at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. John the Evangelist Church Rosary Society, 806 Union St., Schenectady, NY 12305”
