“The Schenectady County Legislature announced a plan last week to hold a series of its regular monthly meetings at locations in each legislative district.
The first will be the legislative body’s Tuesday, July 12 meeting, which will take place at the Duanesburg Volunteer Ambulance Corps, 130 Cole Road, in the village of Delanson at 7 p.m., according to a county press release.
“Our goal is to make our legislative meetings even more accessible to our residents, especially those who are unable to travel to the County Office Building where our meetings are normally held,” said Anthony Jasenski, chair of the legislature, in the prepared statement. “We started streaming the meetings live and now we’re working to hold a meeting in each legislative district this year so it’s easier for residents to participate.””
