“In Schenectady, the Schenectady Foundation, recently awarded $31,500 in scholarships to high school seniors in the county. A $10,000 Anna Hudson Erbacher Scholarship, to support students in Schenectady County with a passion for teaching, was each awarded to April Buechner of Schalmont High School and Haley Neufeld of Niskayuna High School. A $4,000 scholarship was awarded to Piper Cartier of Mohonasen High School. The Schenectady STEM Scholarship, awarded to a Schenectady high school student interested in science, technology, math, or engineering, was awarded to Grace Roberts. The $2,500 David. J. Goyette Memorial Vocational Scholarship, to help students get a degree in the skilled building trades or teach in the vocational field was awarded to Zachary Bradt of Duanesburg High School.”
