“A Howes Cave 16-year-old boy was killed when the car he was riding in lost control on a snow-covered road and struck a utility pole on Route 7 Saturday night, State Police said.
At about 8:40 p.m., police said a 19-year-old driver of Cobleskill was driving east on Route 7 when she lost control, left the road and struck the pole.
Ellis Ganter died in the crash. Two 18-year-old passengers, and a 17-year-old passenger were taken to Albany Medical Center hospital with non-life threatening injuries.”
