“Hub International has lost one of its preeminent executives with the passing away of David Russell Turner, who served as vice president of business risk at the company.
Turner passed away at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto on January 06, 2021; he was 52.
After graduating, Turner began his career in insurance. He spent the first 13 years of his professional career at Marsh Canada, then later joined Integro Canada. Afterwards, he became the president of his own consulting company, Turner Risk Consulting from 2009 to 2012. While operating his risk consultancy, Turner was tapped to serve as director of risk and corporate development at renewable energy company AMP Solar Group, and as senior advisor at merchant banking firm Bridgepoint Group.
Turner eventually joined Hub International in 2012, where he served as vice president for business risk for more than eight years.”
