“PRIME AE Group, Inc. (PRIME AE), an award-winning architecture, engineering, and construction management firm, has promoted Doug Cole to Senior Director, New York Water/Wastewater. Tom Bates, who has been driving the direction of PRIME AE’s operations in New York, will remain to help facilitate a smooth transition and continue his work with long-term clients, regional operations, and mentoring staff on key water and wastewater design tasks.

His areas of specialty include feasibility studies, environmental assessments under the State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA), funding applications, wastewater treatment plant and sewage pumping station design, storm water and MS4 projects, coordinating the preparation of construction drawings and specifications, State and Federal permitting, project team oversight, bidding, construction phase administration, and quality control.

“Doug is deeply embedded in the water/wastewater industry in upstate New York and a recognized leader among his peers,” said Kerry Hogan, Senior Vice President of PRIME AE’s National Water Practice. “He is a talented and well-respected water/wastewater professional who brings a wealth of experience to his new role with PRIME AE.”

Cole earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Rutgers College of Engineering, Piscataway, New Jersey.
