HIGH NOTES: Fire victims, cancer victim’s family, computer help

January 20, 2020 by l

“In Duanesburg, friends are raising money to support two local families whose Quaker Street home was destroyed by fire last month. Funds raised through the Facebook crowdfunding effort will be split between the two families, who lost all their belongings in the fire. No one was injured in the blaze. The fundraiser for Jillian Pollack had raised $1,130 toward a $3,000 goal through Sunday. To donate to that fund, visit https://www.facebook.com/donate/759834077857641/. The fundraiser for Denise Burns had raised nearly $8,000 through Sunday toward a $20,000 goal. To donate to that fund, visit https://www.facebook.com/donate/525957204691700/525957231358364/.”
