“Anthony Jasenski, Chair of the Schenectady County Legislature, last week presented a $100,000 check to the Town of Duanesburg to support the expansion of broadband services to unserved and underserved areas of the Town.
“On behalf of the Schenectady County Legislature, I am proud to recognize the hard work and leadership of Supervisor Roger Tidball, the Town Board, and the Town of Duanesburg Broadband Committee Chaired by Annabel Felton by providing this $100,000.00 County grant to expand broadband access for our residents in underserved and unserved areas of our county,” said Chair Jasenski. “It is our hope that this funding will demonstrate to our representatives at the state and federal level how vitally important internet access has become in our daily lives and encourage them to seek solutions and the additional funding that will allow us to connect every home in Schenectady County.””
