James T. “Jim” Watt, 78, of Schoharie Turnpike, passed away suddenly on Friday, October 26, 2012 .
Born in 1934 in Queens, NY, he was the son of the late Thomas and Genevieve Grogan Watt.
For over 25 years Jim had been employed in the Turbine Receiving Dept. of GE. In his retirement years, Jim greatly enjoyed fishing, golfing and going to breakfast with his friends. He was a 37 year member of the Quaker Street Fire Dept. and attended the Quaker Street Bible Church.
Jim is survived by his wife, Barbara; his son, Randy and his wife, Jane Grady of St. Louis; and his daughter, Vicki Grady of Quaker Street; two grandsons, Jacob and Caleb Grady also of St. Louis; his sister, Joan Fagan of Long Island; many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to call at the Quaker Street Bible Church, Route 7, Quaker Street, NY on Saturday, November 3, 2012 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. A reception will be held following the service. Interment will be private.
Memorial donations may be made to the Quaker Street Fire Dept., and/or the QSB Church.”
