“The owner of a landscaping company has been charged with illegally burning plastic, foam insulation, sheetrock and other construction debris, the state Department of Environmental Conservation said Wednesday.
Robert Vanderveen, 28, of Esperance, was charged with misdemeanor counts of illegal disposal of solid waste and illegal burning of refuse for allegedly burning debris at Seven View farms on Sheldon Road in Duanesburg.
He is the owner of Picture Perfect Lawn and Landscape, which was hired to demolish the Country Mart store in Duanesburg.
Vanderveen is due Aug. 18 in Duanesburg Town Court. He faces a maximum penalty of $52,500 and up to two years in jail, according to the DEC.”
